Ryan Debrosse, the owner and founder of Sea Land Energy, got his start early by learning the family business. Debrosse Oil first originated in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1934 when his grandfather followed his dream to start a heating oil company. From there, the company grew and established a reputation for honest dependability, loyalty and great customer service. Ryan’s father was eager to discover what the family business was all about and got his start in the company by delivering oil and performing burner service, until eventually becoming President of the company.

In late 2008, Ryan decided the time was right to start his own company here in Maine, a place he had called home for many years. Pulling on the knowledge he gained from working with his family's business and seven years of experience delivering for Union Oil in Portland, Ryan started a company that puts the client first. Being able to interact with his customers on a daily basis has given him insight to what homeowners and business owners need most—dependability, loyalty and excellent customer service.
